You will join a growing, entrepreneurial team delivering impactful projects that aim to improve development outcomes across different countries. Within project teams, Interns work closely with Project Leads, Project Managers, Senior Associates, Associates, and Analysts to deliver high-quality analytical and strategic support to clients.
As an Intern, you will:
- Support the analysis and design of development programs to improve the effectiveness and impact of public sector interventions.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Perform literature reviews, policy analysis, and international benchmarking on innovative approaches in international development.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and client deliverables in both Spanish and English.
- Contribute to projects related to performance management, results-based financing, and institutional strengthening.
- Support the organization’s growth through initiatives such as business development, research, and knowledge generation.

Our ideal candidate is a Bachelor’s degree holder or is in their final year awaiting graduation, and is looking to kick start their career in the international development space. They will need to meet the following requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, social sciences, International Development, Government, public policy, Business, Engineering or related fields. (You have completed your undergraduate program or are in your final year).
Language skills:
- Full written and oral working proficiency in Spanish (C2) and English (C1).
Skills:
- Highly analytical with excellent numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Sharepoint, Excel, Powerpoint and Word), Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).
- Ability to synthesize technical information into simple concepts and analyze information critically.
- Ability to work independently.
- High organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A team player attitude and enthusiasm for relational work with clients.
- Passion for national and international development.
Interns at Instiglio have a chance to develop a variety of skills, support in client-facing roles on projects, with the guidance of more experienced senior staff. On the condition of excellent performance, this position could convert to a full-time position. Instiglio has a strong feedback culture, with all staff receiving bi-annual formal, structured reviews, in addition to real-time feedback. Additionally, a mentorship system and development plans are in place to ensure that staff receive proper support in their professional development.
