Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and Head of Unit and under the direct supervision of the Project Cooridnator, the Senior Integration Associate will be responsible for supporting the integration component of a programme supporting Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTPs) in Ireland.
This role will manage a team of Project Associates and Caseworkers, and oversee the delivery of integration activities for BOTPs in Ireland, including facilitating access to support services, language provision, and individualised assistance. The role will include other programme related responsibilities as required.
Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of project activities relating to the integration component of the programme.
Compile, summarize, analyse, and present information/data on specific integration project activities outlined in the Results Matrix, highlighting noteworthy issues for the consideration of appropriate parties.
Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments as necessary.
Act as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation, involving extensive liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, follow-up on administrative actions, etc.
Draft status reports when requested; identify shortfalls in delivery, bring them to the attention of the supervisor and suggest corrective measures.
Draft correspondence on project issues; prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, and other forms of documentation.
Organize meetings, workshops and training sessions; prepare training materials and participate in the delivering of capacity building workshops.
Respond to complex information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records.
Participate in meetings and conferences; maintain effective liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, United Nation agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders relevant to the project.
Provide inputs for the development of Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) and concept papers. Provide general support for the development of new projects.
Supervise team members by providing guidance, training, and support. Coordinate and monitor staff activities within the unit as needed to ensure effective workflow and performance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min readSchool diploma with six years relevant professional experience or;
University degreein Business Administration, Social Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Proven experience in a similar setting and capacity.
Experience working with migrants, refugees, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.
Experience in liaising with governmental, intergovernmental authorities and non-governmental organisations would be considered an advantage.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Good knowledge of information technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher.
Previous work experience in international organizations and service industry companies would be an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality in performing responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal & intercultural skills with attention to detail.

For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
