Introduct Tech welcomes talented professionals to join our challenging and dynamic European project in the Book Exchange & Sharing industry. We are looking for passionate, innovative, and results-oriented specialists to become a part of our international company.

Our new project is a modern digital platform in the Book Exchange & Sharing industry, one of the leading book exchange platforms in Estonia. The platform allows users to exchange books using an internal points-based system, manage wishlists, communicate with other users, and use integrated delivery and payment services. The ecosystem already includes both web and mobile applications and serves an active community of book lovers.

The project is entering a major transformation phase and includes a full redesign and redevelopment of the web platform and mobile applications, implementation of new authentication and payment solutions, improvements to user experience, scalability, and platform architecture. This is a long-term product with many interesting technical and business challenges, where the team will have a direct impact on the evolution of the platform and its future growth.

Requirements

• Understanding of software development and testing processes;
• 3+ years of working experience in testing of Web-based and Mobile applications;
• Experience with bug tracking systems, as well as writing and executing test plans, test cases, defect management, and reporting test results;
• Experience working in Scrum/Kanban;
• Understanding of web technologies and APIs (HTTP, HTML, CSS, REST, SQL);
• Understanding client-server architecture;
• Strong troubleshooting skills;
• Experience testing responsive web applications;
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.);
• Attention to detail and product-oriented mindset;
• Proactive, results-oriented personality;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively;
• Excellent communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, strong attention to detail, ability to work within a team environment, and good learning skills;
• English spoken and written on the upper-intermediate level or higher;
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications;
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans;
• Participate in requirement analysis and feature discussions;
• Perform regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing;
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product stakeholders;
• Execute manual test cases and analyze results;
• Evaluate product code according to specifications;
• Prepare and maintain test documentation;
• Report bugs and errors to development teams;
• Assist in identifying, reproducing, and troubleshooting issues;
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing;
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with QA and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Postman, GitLab, etc.;
• Experience with version control systems (git) is a plus.
