AI/Agent Engineer (Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform)

Join us as an AI/Agent Engineer Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (formerly Vertex AI)!

In this role you’ll design and build production AI agents on Google’s agent stack — Agent Studio, the Agent Development Kit (ADK), Gemini models — and integrate them into real enterprise systems and workflows.

Your future tasks: 

• Build and ship AI agents on Google’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (Agent Studio, ADK, Gemini), including tool/function calling, RAG, and multi-step orchestration.
• Integrate agents with client systems and data sources via APIs.
• Design for the enterprise reality: reliability, security, human-in-the-loop control points, explainability and evaluation.
• Work closely with our product, design and delivery teams — and directly with client stakeholders.
• Help establish reusable patterns and best practices, and share knowledge through enablement and documentation.

What we expect from You:  

• Solid software engineering fundamentals and hands-on Python (roughly 2+ years building real things; more for senior/lead).
• Practical experience building LLM-powered applications or agents with Google ADK / Vertex AI.
• A working understanding of LLM building blocks: prompting, RAG, tool/function calling, and how to evaluate and debug agent behaviour.
• Comfort integrating REST APIs and working with GCP.
• Good written and spoken English, and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Multi-agent orchestration, agent-to-agent (A2A) or MCP, vector databases, LLMOps/MLOps.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading a small delivery stream (for the lead level).
