Senior Software Engineer - Hyderabad

• →Design and build features end to end across our React frontend and Node.js backend services
• →Own the technical design, implementation, and quality of the work you ship
• →Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable engineering work
• →Ensure features are well tested, observable, and ready for enterprise scale

• Take ownership of significant portions of our backend, which runs across multiple Node.js services
• Drive performance, reliability, and maintainability improvements in the services you own
• Make sound choices around schema design, data flows, and service boundaries
• Work with PostgreSQL on schema design, query optimisation, and indexing

• Improve our deployment workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes
• Strengthen logging, monitoring, and alerting across our services
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, and reduce their recurrence over time
• Contribute to building a more resilient, observable, and recoverable system

• Contribute to architectural decisions as the platform evolves
• Help evaluate trade-offs around new services, integrations, and tooling
• Work with third-party SDKs and webhook-based integrations as part of our data pipeline

• Review code, raise the technical bar, and contribute to engineering standards
• Mentor junior developers and support their growth
• Help build a culture of clean code, thoughtful design, and continuous improvement

• Work with customer success and support teams to investigate and resolve customer issues
• Own root-cause analysis for production issues and drive long-term fixes

• 2 to 5 years of professional software development experience, ideally in a product company
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js for backend development
• Production experience with React for frontend development
• Solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL or a comparable RDBMS
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3) and modern deployment workflows
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps practices
• Comfort with logging, monitoring, and incident response in production systems
• Track record of owning features end to end, not just executing assigned tickets
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly
• Bonus: experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments
• Bonus: exposure to multi-service backend architectures
• Bonus: experience integrating third-party SDKs, webhooks, or telematics/IoT data
• Bonus: prior experience mentoring or informally leading engineers
