Role Summary The Senior Software Project Manager at System Micro Corporation drives the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade software solutions, with a specialized focus on no-code and workflow automation technologies. This Remote, Full-time role is responsible for translating complex business requirements into high-quality digital products while ensuring timeline predictability and resource efficiency. Success is measured by the seamless execution of the development lifecycle and the successful deployment of innovative solutions that meet global client standards. Work Setup & Collaboration Fully Remote: Operates in a high-autonomy environment requiring exceptional self-management and documentation skills. Async-First Communication: Prioritizes clear written updates and structured documentation to maintain alignment across distributed teams. Small Team Agility: Collaborates closely within a lean organization (11-50 employees), requiring a hands-on approach and rapid decision-making. Cross-Functional Leadership: Acts as the primary bridge between Product Owners, Architects, and offshore development resources. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise software projects from inception through deployment and stabilization. Implement Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, to facilitate iterative development and continuous process improvement. Manage no-code implementations leveraging platforms like Decisions, Microsoft Power Platform, or ServiceNow to accelerate delivery. Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and resource alignment. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Track project health using JIRA or similar tools, monitoring velocity, burn-down charts, and critical path dependencies. Identify and mitigate risks proactively, resolving blockers and managing escalations to maintain project momentum. Coordinate resource allocation across multiple parallel projects to balance team workload and delivery commitments. Drive quality assurance by coordinating testing phases and ensuring release readiness for enterprise deployments. Own project governance, providing transparent status reporting and executive dashboards to senior leadership. Success Indicators On-time Delivery: Achieve ≥ 90% of milestone targets and sprint commitments within the agreed-upon schedule. Sprint Predictability: Maintain a stable team velocity with less than 15% variance across consecutive sprints. Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain high satisfaction scores through clear communication and alignment with business goals. Quality Standards: Ensure all deployments meet "Definition of Done" with a minimal post-release critical defect rate. Required Qualifications 5–7 years of experience in technical software project management, specifically within the IT or software development industry. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Expertise in Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional technical teams. Strong technical literacy, including an understanding of software architecture, SDLC, and enterprise integrations. Proficiency in project tooling, specifically JIRA, Trello, or equivalent Agile management platforms. Experience with distributed teams, demonstrating the ability to manage offshore or remote resources effectively. Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced growth environment. Clear written communication skills, essential for maintaining documentation and async alignment in a remote setup. Nice to Have No-code/Low-code experience with platforms such as Decisions, Appian, OutSystems, or PowerApps. Professional Certifications: PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or PMI-ACP. Consulting background, particularly in system integration or digital transformation environments. Master’s degree in a technical or business management discipline.
