Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture, module development, and configuration of Drupal-based web platforms supporting critical infrastructure information sharing.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure platform architectures within Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) and For Official Use Only (FOUO) environments.
  • Build and maintain seamless API integrations and content management frameworks across CISA/HSIN platforms.
  • Optimize platform performance and scalability to ensure high availability for rapid operational and emergent event requirements.
  • Enforce strict content governance and site hygiene by developing technical solutions to identify and remediate stale or duplicative content.
  • Ensure all platform updates, interfaces, and deliverables achieve 100% compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Support Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to deploy secure and tested code updates to the production environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Drupal architecture, module development, and site configuration.
  • Deep understanding of secure platform design within SBU/FOUO environments.
  • Advanced skills in API integration, web services, and content management frameworks.
  • Strong capability in platform performance optimization, troubleshooting, and scalability.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in web or platform development.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and managing Drupal-based platforms.
  • Certifications: Active Drupal certification or Government-approved equivalent credential is required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability / Public Trust or Entry on Duty (EOD) approval. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
