IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a UH-60A/L/M Black Hawk Subject Matter Expert as a Systems Analyst to provide systems engineering support to the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) Utility Division located in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate for this position will be expected to work an undetermined number of assigned technical taskers in support of the SRD Utility Division and must be able to effectively maintain close communication with Government, contractor, and company personnel. A successful candidate will have a solid technical background in airworthiness qualification processes per AR-70-62, and an extensive background in Army aircraft communications, navigation, maintenance, and program management support. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision. Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret level security clearance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →SRD support: Preparing risk determinations, airworthiness impact statements, aviation safety messages, and aviation maintenance action messages
- →Providing airworthiness support in the development of test & fielding Airworthiness Releases (AWRs) that are adequately coordinated with SRD functional engineers
- →Executing engineering tasks of moderate scope and complexity
- →Providing SME knowledge of all aircraft systems, supporting the performance of analysis in connection with these systems
- →Other duties as required
- →While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
- Bachelor of Science degree (technical preferred) from an accredited college with 10 years of direct experience in the task
- Experience with UH-60A/L/M series aircraft as a maintenance test pilot
- Technical background in Army aircraft systems and program management
- Experience and understanding of airworthiness qualification of Army aircraft systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
