Position Description
 

The Field Coordinator supports self-perform project execution by assisting field leadership with workforce coordination, logistics, materials tracking, equipment management, and administrative support across multiple active construction projects. This role serves as a key communication link between Self-Perform leadership, Field Operations, project teams, warehouse personnel, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure efficient daily operations that support project schedule, quality, productivity, and safety goals.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer literate, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced construction environment, and able to coordinate high-volume staffing and logistical operations across multiple jobsites. Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills are essential to success in this role.

 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide daily coordination and execution of manpower assignments to support field productivity and operational needs across multiple project sites.
  • Execute staffing assignments under the direction of Self-Perform and/or Field Operations Management while ensuring timely communication between field leadership and crews.
  • Support efficient project operations through coordination of deliveries, tools, consumables, and equipment between warehouse operations, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Maintain accountability and visibility of self-perform resources across active projects.
  • Assist field leadership with operational administration, workforce documentation, reporting, scheduling coordination, and communication processes that support project execution and compliance requirements.
  • Support company safety initiatives and field operations by promoting compliance with project safety standards, participating in daily stretch and flex activities, and maintaining active engagement with field personnel and jobsite operations.

 

Essential Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Ability to coordinate high-volume staffing operations and logistics across multiple active jobsites.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, warehouse teams, and project management staff.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

 

Required Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 certification required, or ability to obtain the certification within four (4) weeks of accepting the employment offer.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred; Spanish and/or Creole language skills are highly desired.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn company software systems.
  • Understanding of construction methods, equipment, and jobsite safety practices 
  • Valid driver’s license.

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment 

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods. 
  • Ability to navigate active construction sites with changing ground conditions and elevations. 
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. 
  • Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment as required. 
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). 
  • Ability to participate in daily stretch and flex routines.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying Caribbean weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and sun exposure.
