We focus on what our customer needs on the jobsite – a machine that holds up in the toughest environment and increases their productivity.     At JCB, we stand behind our products – and our name.     Position Purpose  This position is responsible for planning and regulating machine parts and current inventory level. This role ensures that each day's scheduled run of parts occurs without incident. The individual is responsible for assisting Production Control management and Manufacturing management to achieve its daily targets by keeping up with demand, forecasting needs, and managing/building strong relationships with JCB North America’s suppliers and vendors.    Position Type  Non-Exempt     Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities  Work collaboratively with the Senior Planner, Logistics Manager and our 3PLs  Plan individual part parameters to meet corporate goals of appropriate inventory levels  Manage and coordinate a large number of suppliers and vendors  Manage and coordinate high volumes of parts on a daily basis  Monitor supplier performance for on time in full delivery to the plant and offsite warehouse  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure resolution of any known supplier / material issues  Continuous monitoring of delivery schedules to in plant needs  Support ongoing continuous improvement for right sizing the plant inventory    Minimum Qualifications   2 years of domestic / international logistical experience  2 years of managing high number of suppliers / parts  1 year of working as a planner in a JIT environment    Preferred Qualifications  Associates’s degree in business management or equivalent  2 years of ERP Experience (SAP)  2 years’ experience of managing 3PL deliverables    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies  Proficient in Microsoft Office software   Comfortable in an in-person office environment  Technical competence is a plus  Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level  Must have excellent follow-through skills   Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings  Must be open to domestic travel (less than 15%)  Desire and proven ability to learn and grow     Job Conditions  Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment  Subject to noise and temperature changes    Physical Requirements  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
