Position Purpose
The Manufacturing Quality Team Leader leads and supports the quality inspectors for the manufacturing team to achieve safety, quality and delivery targets while promoting continuous improvement and team development.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Lead and supervise a team to meet daily quality and manufacturing targets
Ensure work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
Monitor quality, productivity and performance
Allocate work and manage priorities to meet schedules
Coach, support and develop team members
Conduct team briefings, handovers and communications
Identify and escalate safety, quality or equipment issues
Support continuous improvement and problem‑solving activities
Complete basic people and production administration
Collaborate with other Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment
Has experience working in a welding environment
Has GD&T knowledge
Experience in a quality team
Ability to supervise or lead others
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Good communication and organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience
Experience managing quality or manufacturing teams
Has weld / fabrication background
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
People leadership and coaching skills
Operational decision‑making ability
Strong communication and teamwork
Organized, proactive and results‑focused mindset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
