We are seeking a Duty Manager who will play a central decision-making and coordination role, ensuring the smooth operation of all flights through the Dispatching, Customer Service, Crew Scheduling, and Maintenance Operations Control departments. You will ensure the fluidity and efficiency of all flights. You will facilitate the coordination of all operations between teams, guaranteeing clear communication and consistency across functions. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will lead and support the teams in achieving a common goal. You will be responsible to senior management for the smooth daily operation of the airline, 24/7.

Job description
- Single point of contact for all operational aspects, 24/7.
- Proactively identifies, coordinates, and manages any flight disruptions.
- Anticipates daily operational threats and issues, as well as any potential irregularities: weather conditions, strikes, special events.
- Ensures absolute priority for customers, while taking operational constraints into account.
- Coordinates, leads, and facilitates regular operational meetings with all relevant teams.
- Provides strong leadership and works closely with all operational teams to ensure maximum fleet optimization and efficiency.
- Informs all managers of any issues arising during their shifts.
- Participates in cross-functional projects involving all departments.
- Implements a daily reporting and flight briefing system involving all teams.
- Contributes to operational meetings and provides feedback and corrective action plans following disruptions.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for pilots in the event of an operational disruption involving various teams within the Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC).
Profile
- 5 years of experience in an operational environment.
- Dynamic, motivated, and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to confidently solve problems and find solutions.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Availability to work shifts and weekends.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, versatility, and the ability to manage conflicts.
