Today, we operate over 180 stores across Europe and the UK, launching new collections every six weeks and delivering a seamless, customer-first experience from styling to aftercare.

In December 2025, we opened our first U.S. retail location in New York City, marking the beginning of Jimmy Fairly’s expansion in the American market. Since then, we’ve built strong momentum with growing brand awareness, high traffic, and an increasingly loyal local community.

As we continue expanding our presence in Manhattan, we’re growing our team and looking for a Licensed Optician who wants to be part of building something long-term in the U.S.

As a Licensed Optician, you are a key pillar of the client experience.

You combine clinical expertise, strong sales skills, and a sharp sense of style. You guide clients through their entire journey — from understanding their prescription to finding frames they love and lenses that truly suit their lifestyle.

Welcome and guide clients with warmth and confidence.
Interpret prescriptions and recommend tailored lens solutions.
Confidently advise on lens upgrades and treatments.
Style frames with attention to detail and aesthetics.
Build long-term relationships and drive repeat business.

Ensure full compliance with New York State regulations.
Perform fittings, adjustments, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
Inspect finished eyewear to guarantee premium quality.
Manage lens orders with accuracy and care.

Train and support the retail team on optical knowledge.
Contribute to smooth daily operations and inventory management.
Help us continuously refine processes as we grow in the U.S.

A current New York State Licensed Optician - license is required.
Solid experience in optical retail and strong lens knowledge.
A natural sales mindset with a client-first approach.
Energetic, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Availability to work weekends.

Experience in premium retail is a plus.
