We are searching for the best talent for a National Therapy Advancement Lead, Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart to be based remotely within the United States.


Responsibilities

National Therapy Advancement Lead, Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart is a member of the US Commercial Marketing organization and reports directly to the Senior Director, US Therapy Advancement. This role is responsible for developing and overseeing the successful execution of Structural Heart Therapy Advancement strategies to increase ICE adoption and utilization across the country, in close alignment with the broader Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart commercial strategy. This individual leads the field Structural Heart Therapy Advancement team and works closely with Sales and Clinical Leadership, and cross-functional teams including Health Care Compliance, HEMA, and Customer Education and Engagement.


  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent into the Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart Therapy Advancement team (selection, performance management, succession planning, development planning, retention planning, etc.). Coach and manage the performance of Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart Therapy Advancement Managers directly.
  • Develop business-critical commercial goals for the team, ensure accountability, and provide leadership to ensure the team meets and exceeds business goals.
  • Develop and execute customer relationship strategies to ensure effective relationships with key clinical and commercial stakeholders across structural heart accounts.
  • Lead national projects for the field Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart Therapy Advancement team.
  • Understand, adhere to, and hold the team accountable for adherence to Company programs, policies, and procedures (expense reporting, compensation, healthcare compliance, etc.).
  • Manage the Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart Therapy Advancement P&L.
  • Lead the development and execution of market development strategies and tactics to support healthcare providers and patients in expanding ICE-guided structural heart diagnosis and treatment.
  • Partner with US Commercial Marketing, Sales, and Clinical leadership to lead the execution of appropriate commercial strategies to maximize business outcomes.
  • Participate as an active member of the US Commercial Marketing leadership team to ensure effective execution of national strategies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of procedural and operational efficiency solutions in key structural heart customer accounts.
  • Establish and leverage key customer relationships nationally and locally to better understand pain points in delivering care and help refine the structural heart strategy to be the partner of choice.
  • Collaborate in a matrix organization to drive change and promote and improve the use of all available customer resources developed by commercial marketing, CEE, HEMA, etc.
  • Plan and execute national-level marketing projects that will contribute to organizational goals.
  • Serve as the connective link between In-House Marketing, Regional Business Managers/Territory Managers, and UCAS at the national level, ensuring the Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart Therapy Advancement team functions as a coordinated, non-competing partner across all three.
  • Uphold all HCC rules and regulations with the field Structural Heart Therapy Advancement team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BA/BS, combined with a minimum of 15+ years professional work experience and 10 years of sales and marketing experience is required.
  • MBA or related master's degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the medical device industry is preferred. Sales or clinical experience in structural heart, cardiac imaging, or another cardiovascular therapeutic area is preferred.
  • People management experience required; prior team management experience is preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships with a consultative approach is required.
  • Expertise in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships across a matrix organization is required.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills are required.
  • Travel percentage — 70% U.S. only, including some weekends.
  • Remote position; residency within the United States required.

Must be able to drive and stand for long periods of time, particularly when wearing a lead apron while observing structural heart procedures.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
