  • Lead the development and execution of national sales strategies, programs, and strategic growth initiatives aligned with broader business objectives.

  • Monitor sales performance against key metrics, business goals, and strategic priorities, identifying opportunities for improvement and taking corrective action where needed.

  • Partner with regional sales leaders, business development managers, and senior stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and drive consistent execution across the organization.

  • Improve sales effectiveness through reporting, analytics, process optimization, performance measurement, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Lead strategic sales technology initiatives that improve team effectiveness, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

  • Build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders while maintaining a strong understanding of customer and distribution needs.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to teams and sales champions, establishing a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.

  • Communicate strategic recommendations, performance insights, and priorities effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Champion customer-centricity and ensure sales initiatives support both profitable growth and an exceptional broker and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in Property & Casualty Insurance, Business Development, Sales, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of developing teams and driving performance.

  • Proven experience developing and implementing sales strategies, national programs, and business growth initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, market dynamics, and broker relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to use reporting, analytics, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve sales effectiveness.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, influencing, and relationship-building capabilities.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ideas into measurable outcomes.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Customer-focused leadership style with the ability to build trust, inspire teams, and drive organizational change.
