The Senior Events Manager will lead the global events strategy and execution, transforming in-person and virtual experiences into measurable business results. This senior individual contributor role combines strategic planning, budget ownership, event execution, and performance measurement to support business growth across the customer lifecycle. You will oversee the global events portfolio, prioritizing investments that generate new business opportunities while strengthening customer engagement, retention, and expansion. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Enablement, you will ensure each event supports broader go-to-market objectives. You will build scalable processes, develop effective field engagement programs, and use data-driven insights to improve event performance. This role offers the opportunity to shape global market presence and directly influence pipeline contribution and commercial outcomes.

  • Global Events Strategy: Own the global events calendar and prioritization framework, selecting conferences, company-hosted events, and partner activations based on pipeline potential, audience alignment, competitive positioning, and historical performance. Align the annual strategy with commercial priorities and segment growth objectives.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Manage the global events budget, forecasting, vendor contracts, negotiations, and post-event reconciliation. Track return on investment, cost per opportunity, and customer engagement costs to optimize spending and guide investment decisions.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Oversee end-to-end logistics, including venue and vendor selection, registration, booth and experience design, staffing, shipping, on-site coordination, and post-event activities. Develop repeatable execution playbooks and direct local and contract staff to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences across markets.
  • Event Communications and Engagement: Build integrated pre-event outreach and registration campaigns, on-site engagement programs, and post-event follow-up sequences. Coordinate with Revenue Marketing on demand generation and account targeting, and with Customer Marketing on adoption, retention, and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Sales and Customer Success Enablement: Establish strong working relationships with Sales, Customer Success Managers, Sales Enablement, and Solution Engineering. Prepare account lists, talking points, competitive insights, meeting schedules, and event-specific briefing materials, while ensuring clear responsibilities for engagement and follow-up.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting: Set measurable goals for each event, including sourced and influenced pipeline, meetings, customer engagements, and new contacts. Maintain performance dashboards, track results through CRM systems, conduct structured post-event reviews, and present ROI insights and recommendations to senior marketing leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Marketing to align event programming and messaging with market positioning and competitive differentiation. Work with Marketing Operations to ensure accurate attribution, effective lead routing, and reliable data capture across the events portfolio.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use event results, Sales and Customer Success feedback, and performance analytics to refine prioritization, strengthen conversion, improve cost efficiency, and maximize the commercial impact of future programs.
