This senior-level role offers an opportunity to shape literacy outcomes across districts and state education systems. You will serve as a trusted instructional expert in complex, high-impact partnership conversations. Working closely with Revenue, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Implementation teams, you will help connect evidence-based literacy practices with measurable student outcomes. You will advise senior education leaders, strengthen strategic partnerships, and support initiatives that expand access to effective literacy instruction. The role combines educational expertise, consultative partnership, and commercial impact in a mission-driven environment. With significant visibility across strategic accounts, you will help influence how literacy transformation is implemented at scale.
- Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success teams on high-value, complex district and state opportunities, providing instructional expertise throughout the sales and partnership lifecycle.
- Deliver compelling, outcome-focused presentations to Superintendents, Chiefs of Academics, Literacy Directors, state education leaders, and other senior stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships with district and state leaders while ensuring smooth transitions from sales conversations into implementation and long-term partnerships.
- Represent the organization at conferences, leadership convenings, and state literacy events while supporting campaigns, outreach, and initiatives that generate qualified pipeline.
- Contribute to quota attainment, pipeline development, expansion opportunities, strategic proposals, renewal strategies, and long-term partnership value.
- Advise districts and state agencies on the Science of Reading, structured literacy, evidence-based foundational instruction, MTSS frameworks, intervention models, and implementation science.
- Help education systems define success criteria, implementation benchmarks, measurable outcomes, and evidence aligned with strategic goals and funding priorities.
- Connect product capabilities to student achievement outcomes and contribute to customer success stories, impact metrics, and evidence of program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Implementation teams to align messaging, improve the district experience, and strengthen sales enablement.
- Bring field and district insights back to internal teams to continuously improve positioning, partnerships, and overall approach.
Requirements
~1 min read- 10+ years of experience in K–12 education, including significant district-level leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in the Science of Reading, structured literacy, and evidence-based foundational literacy instruction.
- Proven experience leading or supporting district-wide literacy initiatives and multi-school implementation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to advise, influence, and present effectively to senior district and state education leaders.
- Experience working across complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships or enterprise-level education initiatives.
- Familiarity with outcomes-based contracting, grant-funded programs, or accountability-driven procurement.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, consultative problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to balance strong instructional credibility with commercial objectives and strategic partnership goals.
- Experience collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, or Implementation teams is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with occasional additional travel based on district needs, for in-person training and partnership support.
- Comfortable working remotely, participating in frequent video meetings, reviewing digital documents, and collaborating through technology for extended periods.
- Experience working in a Google Workspace environment is expected.
