KC120 - Full-Time Housekeeper - TriBeCa

A warm, professional family who recently relocated to TriBeCa, New York is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to help maintain their 4,800-square-foot, three-story townhouse. The home features a lower-level pool and a private entrance with a doorman attached to the building. While the home has an elevator, it is reserved for moving large items such as luggage, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable using the stairs throughout the day.

This is a hands-on housekeeping position focused on maintaining the home's cleanliness, organization, and overall day-to-day functionality. The family has three school-aged children and a one-year-old Golden Retriever. They are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working in an active family environment and is comfortable interacting warmly with the children while maintaining professional boundaries.

The children are fairly independent and attend school during the day. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and takes pride in anticipating household needs without requiring constant direction. The family values someone who notices what needs to be done, communicates well, and takes ownership of their responsibilities.

An external team handles periodic deep cleaning, so this role is centered around maintaining the home on a daily basis rather than performing extensive deep-cleaning projects. Deep cleaning of easily accessible areas, such as baseboards, behind furniture, and inside cabinets, will be expected as needed.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM

Start: ASAP 

• →Maintain the day-to-day cleanliness and organization of the home (4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms)
• →Handle the parents' personal laundry and bedding
• →Prepare breakfast and school lunches for the children
• →Assist with light dinner meal preparation for Mom as needed
• →Replenish water and supplies in the primary bedroom daily
• →Maintain children's bedrooms, common areas, and household organization
• →Coordinate daily household priorities with the family
• →Keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the day
• →Load and unload the dishwasher
• →Navigate the home's three levels throughout the day using the stairs
• →Engage warmly with the children while encouraging age-appropriate independence and life skills
• →Maintain a welcoming, guest-ready home
• →Assist with household organization projects as needed
• →Perform deep cleaning of easily accessible areas as needed, including baseboards, behind furniture, and inside cabinets
• →Help with ad hoc hosting at the home
• →May need to take the dog out for a bathroom break or feed a meal
• →Travel is not necessary, but occasional flexibility is welcome

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a private Housekeeper
• Strong laundry skills and knowledge of garment care
• Comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals for children and light meal prep for adults
