Resident Project Representative

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Resident Project Representative to join our Water team in Loogootee, IN or Santa Claus, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for observing construction activities on water/wastewater projects—verifying that work is built safely, accurately, and in accordance with approved plans and specifications.

• →Observe and document water/wastewater construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and approved submittals
• →Verify quality of completed work through field measurements, computations, and monitoring of contractor quality control efforts
• →Identify nonconforming work and support evaluation of corrective actions to ensure acceptability
• →Review contractor payment applications, change orders, and quantities of completed work to support progress payments
• →Coordinate with owners, contractors, and project teams while maintaining clear reports and accurate project records

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of related construction observation experience required
• Knowledge of construction techniques and ability to comprehend construction documents
• Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with project teams and assisting senior team members with complex projects
• Strong communication and mathematics skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license required; extensive travel may be required

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
