This is an Atlantic portfolio venture.

We're building next-generation HPC and AI infrastructure for a world where brute-force compute is reaching its limits. Our chip and system architecture is designed to exploit sparsity at scale, focusing compute where it matters most and eliminating unnecessary computation everywhere else. That means orders-of-magnitude gains in performance and efficiency. We're based in Dresden and working at the intersection of deep tech, European industrial policy, and the global AI race.

About the Role

~1 min read

This is a senior hire at the centre of how we engage with government, regulators, and the broader European policy landscape. You'll lead our public affairs strategy across Germany and the EU, shaping how we're positioned in some of the most consequential policy debates of the decade: AI, semiconductors, digital sovereignty, and high-performance computing. You'll work directly with the CEO and leadership team, with real ownership over how we show up in Berlin and Brussels.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Define and execute our public affairs strategy across German federal and regional government, and EU institutions in Brussels

  • Monitor and anticipate regulatory, legislative, and geopolitical developments that affect our business

  • Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, institutional partners, and government stakeholders

  • Represent us in high-level meetings, consultations, and policy forums in Berlin and Brussels

  • Position us as a recognised voice in European AI infrastructure and deep tech

  • Engage with industry alliances, think tanks, and research institutions across Germany and the EU

  • Identify and support access to public funding programmes, including Horizon Europe, the Chips Act, IPCEI, and national innovation programmes

  • Drive participation in strategic consortia and collaborative European initiatives

  • Develop policy narratives around AI, compute infrastructure, and European competitiveness

  • Contribute to position papers, consultation responses, and public communications

  • Support CEO and leadership visibility in policy and industry discussions

  • Advise internally on regulatory risks and opportunities, helping align corporate strategy with the political landscape

You understand how policy gets made in Berlin and Brussels, and you know how to get a deep tech company into the right rooms. You're equally comfortable briefing a minister, drafting a position paper, or working with an engineering team to translate what we do into language that resonates with policymakers. You think strategically but you're hands-on, and you're motivated by the idea of shaping European technology policy from inside a company that's building something genuinely new.

  • Significant experience in public affairs, government relations, or policy, with a strong track record across both Germany and EU institutions

  • Background in deep tech, AI, semiconductors, or advanced computing

  • An established network in Berlin and / or Brussels policy circles

  • Experience working within or alongside startups or scale-ups, not just large corporates

  • Able to translate complex technical topics into clear, accessible messaging for non-technical audiences

  • Professional fluency in both English and German

Nice to have:

  • Additional EU languages

  • Experience with IPCEI processes or large-scale European consortium programmes

  • Familiarity with German federal and regional funding landscapes

What We Offer

~1 min read

We're at an inflection point. The European policy environment around AI, semiconductors, and compute infrastructure is moving fast, and we're right in the middle of it. This role gives you direct influence over how a deep tech company engages with some of the most important policy debates in Europe today. You'll work closely with the CEO, have genuine ownership of the strategy, and help shape how Europe builds its compute future. We offer relocation support and a flexible, inclusive working environment.
