Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Waterloo, IA Function: Product Engineering (CA) Title: JDPS Application Platform Lead, OEM Implementation - 122869 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities As an Application Platform Lead - OEM for John Deere Power Systems (JDPS) located in Waterloo, IA, you will * Serve as the technical lead for engine and aftertreatment integration into OEM product platforms, guiding the development of solutions that meet customer and business needs. This includes driving critical issues to closure in both PDP and CI. * Apply Systems Engineering principles and engine engineering expertise to define and scope APDP projects balancing customer requirements, business objectives, and technical risk. * Develop deep understanding of OEM customer operations, machine utilization, and application requirements, translating voice-of-customer insights into prioritized engineering requirements and actionable product solutions. * Provide technical leadership and influence across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across organizations to deliver consistent customer-focused solutions worldwide. * Ensure that JDPS EPDP programs meet both current and future needs of OEM customers and business stakeholders. Proactively identify and resolve gaps in program scope, and lead integration activities with early adopters. VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need * Professional experience in technical roles related to diesel engines or vehicle engine applications * Demonstrated problem-solving and issue resolution skills * Demonstrated technical communication skills * Strong prioritization, project leadership, and schedule management skills * Flexibility in dealing with changing and/or partial information while working with diverse teams ## What Makes You Stand Out * Experience with John Deere product development in engineering, project management, or PV&V capacity * Demonstrated deep technical expertise in one or more engine engineering functional areas (e.g. Design, Performance, Controls, PV&V, CI, Manufacturing) * Diverse background in varied JDPS or vehicle functional areas (e.g. Design, Performance, Controls, PV&V, CI, Manufacturing) * Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification ## Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: * 4 year Bachelor Engineering degree or related fields.
