Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, internal alignment and other job-related factors.
Starting salary $40,000 annually depending on experience and qualification.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Investigate, process, and respond to credit disputes and discrepancies accordingly and timely. Including communication with the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA) and updating credit reporting using the CRA approved system, Provana/Sonnet.
- →Monitor and track credit dispute requests to identify potential service or system deficiencies or issues.
- →Document dispute results within the core system and in the preauthorized credit dispute management platform.
- →Research and analyze complex requests and ensure that required updates are performed within required regulatory timelines.
- →Work and analyze reports necessary to ensure work is completed according to required timelines, procedures and regulations. Perform necessary research and actions based on report findings, notifying management of status, any issues and proposed resolutions.
- →Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance, including but not limited; Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies Act, Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices, Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.
- →Identify and implement process efficiencies and submit procedural updates for approval. Identify and resolve issues that arise outside of the normal course of business.
- →Participate in meetings and projects related to credit bureau reporting; provide information as needed for regulatory compliance and audits.
- →Provide additional support throughout the department and perform other tasks and duties as needed.
- →Keeps management informed of activities, trends, progress toward established objectives, and any significant problems.
- →Assist with member complaints that require research and responses.
- →Serves members and team members appropriately and timely.
- →Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company’s purpose, mission and core values.
