Senior Cyber Security Specialist

• →Work independently with minimal supervision​

• →Understand and manage the technologies of the assigned systems

🧠What You Bring to the Table

• →15+ years of Information Technology/Cybersecurity Experience with a minimum of 5 years in the DoD and a minimum of 5 years of System Administration and configuration experience in the enterprise with one or more of the following technologies:​
  • →Windows 7 – 10 including DoD Secure Host Baseline​
  • →Cisco switches and routers​
  • →Boundary defenses​
  • →DoD 8570 IAM – III Certification Certification Details​
• →An active DoD SECRET Level Security Clearance (or have held one in the past 2 years)​
• →Strong skills in Tenable’s Nessus/Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS):​
  • →Vulnerability Analysis​
  • →Managing scan data in Security Center​
  • →Providing reports to system owners, program managers, and ISSMs to track vulnerability metrics​
  • →Uploading scan data to enterprise Mission Assurance Service (eMASS) to populate the asset management component​
  • →Ports, Protocols, and Services (PP&S)​
  • →LAN/WAN design and security​
• →Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) policy and procedures (DoD 8500, DoD 8510, NIST SP 800-37, & NIST SP 800-53)​
• →Knowledge of RMF Implementation guidance and applying technical expertise to continuous monitoring controls​
• →Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences and explain complex situations to all levels of leadership, including SES/General Officers
