We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented outside sales professional to grow our HVAC service and project business. This role is focused on developing new relationships, identifying client needs, and delivering customized HVAC solutions that improve system performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
~1 min readGenerate New Opportunities
Actively prospect for new business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and targeted engagement. Maintain a consistent pipeline and follow through on leads to drive conversions.
Understand & Advise Clients
Conduct on-site consultations to evaluate building systems, identify challenges, and understand budget considerations. Recommend solutions that align with both operational goals and technical requirements.
Develop Proposals
Create detailed quotes, proposals, and service agreements, including scope, pricing, and timelines. Present solutions clearly while addressing customer concerns and highlighting value.
Work Cross-Functionally
Collaborate with internal teams such as estimators, technicians, and project managers to ensure accurate planning and successful project execution.
Build Client Loyalty
Maintain strong relationships by serving as a trusted advisor throughout the entire sales cycle. Drive repeat business and referrals through excellent service.
Meet Performance Goals
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective strategy and customer engagement.
Stay Market-Aware
Remain knowledgeable about HVAC innovations, market conditions, and competitor offerings to stay competitive in the field.
Requirements
~1 min read- 2+ years of experience in HVAC sales or a related technical sales role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a focus on achieving measurable results
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
