Leadership & Team Development 

  • Manage and grow a team of managers and planners, setting clear priorities and creating space for career growth. 
  • Build a collaborative and accountable team culture where people are empowered to do their best work. 
  • Clear roadblocks so the team can focus on impact. Simplify processes and drive efficiencies that boost productivity. 
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to elevate both individuals and the overall function. 

Business Insights & Strategic Alignment 

  • Roll up insights across all North America wholesale channels and share them with cross-functional partners and senior leadership. 
  • Lead Gross-to-Net operations and consolidation — including forecasting for discounts, returns (RTV), and promotions — as part of the overall wholesale forecast. 
  • Translate SKU- and channel-level detail into clear business insights that shape strategy and decision-making. 
  • Partner directly with retailer planning to influence assortment decisions, buys, and inventory flow to maximize in-stock performance and sell-through. 

Forecasting & Planning 

  • Own forecasts, budgets, and OTB across multiple channels. 
  • Lead monthly forecast reviews, escalating risks and opportunities to key functional partners (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales, and Finance). 
  • Partner with Sales and Finance on promo, markdown, RTV, and inventory forecasts to ensure accuracy and profitability. 

Process & Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Brand, and Finance to improve how planning connects across teams. 
  • Document planning processes so they are scalable, consistent, and repeatable. 
  • Push for smarter forecasting methods, better data quality, and stronger scenario modeling. 

Analytics & Tools 

  • Use advanced Excel skills and enterprise planning tools (Anaplan strongly preferred) to surface insights and guide recommendations. 

 

Requirements

  • 7+ years of merchandise or wholesale planning experience. 
  • Experience leading and developing direct reports. 
  • Proven success managing across multiple wholesale channels. 
  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or equivalent experience 
  • Expert in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced modeling). 
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise planning platforms; Anaplan strongly preferred. 
  • Familiarity with BI/data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
