As an SVP, Client Solutions at Kepler, you are the senior-most guardian of our most critical client partnerships. You are not here to manage the day-to-day; you are here to manage the future, ensuring that the work we do is "next-level good" and that our clients view us as indispensable business partners, not just a media agency.
You will act as the bridge between the client's C-Suite, our day-to-day teams, Kepler’s executive team, and our sister agencies within the kyu Collective.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Redefine the Relationship: Move beyond "service provider" to "business imperative." You will own the relationship with C-level stakeholders (but don’t keep others at Kepler out), ensuring they view Kepler as a critical consulting partner for their broader business challenges.
- →Drive Innovation & Thought Leadership: You are responsible for the quality of the "big idea." You will challenge our internal teams to produce work that doesn't just hit KPIs but transforms the client's business. You ensure we are delivering consistent, provocative thought leadership. Your job is to help clients see around corners. This is not on you and you alone, however; tap into the COEs and innovation coming from media partners and the kyu Collective.
- →Quality Assurance of the "Next Level": You are the final filter for excellence. You will review key strategic outputs to ensure they meet the highest standard of innovation before they reach the client.
- →Commercial Stewardship: While the client leads (AVPs/VPs) manage the P&L, you manage the value proposition. You ensure that our commercial model evolves as we add more value, protecting Kepler’s long-term health.
- →Expand the Footprint (Kepler + Kyu): You will proactively identify opportunities to leverage untapped Kepler capabilities and the Kyu network (our sister agencies) to solve client problems that extend beyond media. Each account you oversee should have a growth plan, engineered by you, that maps out the steps you / the team need to take in order to be successful.
- →Help Make Kepler Famous: Be a Kepler evangelist. Help get our name out in the marketplace with pitch consultants, awards, industry events, etc.
- →Mentorship (‘Creating the next You”): You know how to cultivate talent, how to bring the best out of people, how to inspire teams to upend the status quo and think about categories in a new way.
Requirements
~2 min read- 15+ Years of Experience: You have seen it all in digital, media, and marketing strategy. You have a reputation in the industry.
- Agency Experience: You’ve worked at an agency and have either lead a IAT team or have worked in both in both Creative and Media.
- True Consultative Gravity: You can command a room of senior level clients not by volume, but by insight. You have a history of turning at-risk accounts into growth accounts. You strive to be the partner they call first when they have a business challenge.
- The "Connector" Mindset: You know how to navigate complex networks (like kyu) to bring the best talent to the problem. You also know how to navigate complex client organizations, creating narratives (about our work, and about opportunities) that resonate, ensuring buy-in from key stakeholders across various internal divisions with the client organization.
- Proactive Paranoia: You are an expert at sensing and mitigating risk through relationships and action plans; our goal is to have zero client attrition.
- Radical Candor: You are willing to challenge clients on their assumptions and challenge internal teams to break the status quo.
