We are now accepting applications for our 2026 Seasonal Information Technology Intern.

Job Summary
In this role, you will gain valuable experience while having fun working at the beach. The Information Technology Intern plays a vital role in supporting our IT department and our organization. You will work closely with corporate professionals to gain a-hands on experience and knowledge in various aspects of It. This experience will give you a unique internship opportunity while also enjoying the coastal environment, waterways, and the culture of the Outer Banks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This is a full-time seasonal position, up to 40 hours per week. Workdays and shifts will vary. General expectations and opportunities include:

Commitment to a 12-week internship and flexible availability: nights, weekends, and holidays
Commitment to customer service through great teamwork and communication skills
Dedication to excellence demonstrated by taking initiative and increasing product knowledge.

Willingness to help with a variety of task as needed by supervisor.
Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining network systems and devices.
Providing technical support to stores including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Documenting processes and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Participating in training and development to help and improve skills and knowledge.

Education, & Experience

Currently enrolled in a college program focusing on Information Technology, Computer Science, or another business-related field.
0 – 2 years related Information Technology experience

Working Conditions

The work environment for this position will vary between indoors and outdoors depending on location.
Noise level in this job is moderate to noisy; expect business office machinery, people talking, background music playing.
May be requested to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
May be requested to drive company vehicle.

Physical Requirements
About 1/3 of one's time will be spent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. One-third to two-thirds of one's time will be spent standing, walking, sitting, and reaching. About 2/3 of one's time will be spent using one's hands to finger, handle or feel, as well as talking or hearing. Expect to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis. Vision required: close, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Some other physical demands come from continuous computer work, cash register work, sales floor work, events work, and mail order work.
