Parts Delivery/Warehouse Associate

Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of delivery driver and warehouse associate in our Portland location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. We are growing quickly and are looking for someone motivated to grow with us!

• →Loading/unloading trucks & trailers
• →Pre/post trip inspections of company delivery vehicles
• →Unloading shipping containers
• →Delivering parts to customer job sites, including towing a trailer as needed
• →Picking and packing parts
• →Maintaining organization and cleanliness of shop, yard, and delivery vehicles
• →Shipping and receiving parts and equipment
• →Preparation of conveyor belt orders
• →Safely operate forklifts of various sizes and capacities
• →Communicate with customers at construction sites (verbal, CB, phone)
• →Comply to construction site safety standards (MSHA, OSHA, customer rules & regulations)
• →Safely operate overhead shop crane, belt winder, band saw, specialized tools
• →Communicate safety and maintenance issues promptly to Manager

• Knowledge of warehouse organization & function
• Ability to work as a team
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Willingness to learn on the job, attend internal & external training
• Operation of proper tools, including a forklift
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Experience in towing a trailer and securing load
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Picking & packing methods
• Current driver license
• Clean driving record
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule occasionally on an emergency basis to support customer breakdowns
