About the Role

~2 min read

Klaviyo is looking for a Lead Partner Enablement SpecialistPrincipal of APAC Partner Enablement to lead the strategy and execution of partner enablement across the Asia-Pacific region, with an initial focus on Australia & New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and broader emerging markets in the region.

This role is critical to scaling our APAC partner ecosystem and accelerating regional growth, with partners serving as the tip of the spear for selling, implementing, and driving adoption of Klaviyo’s Autonomous CRM platform across a diverse set of markets, business models, and levels of digital maturity.

You will own the APAC partner enablement strategy, evolving and scaling existing programs to drive deeper partner capability, stronger pipeline impact, and broader platform adoption across marketing, service, and analytics—underpinned by AI. A core part of this role is helping partners evolve their offerings and Klaviyo skills to align with the future of Klaviyo’s Autonomous CRM, adapted for regional nuances (channels, languages, verticals, and go‑to‑market motions).

Based in Singapore or Sydney, this role sits on the Global Partnerships team and works closely with APAC regional and cross-functional leaders to deliver high-impact enablement that prepares partners not just for today’s platform—but for where Klaviyo is going next.

This is a player-coach role: you will operate hands-on in the field, contributing to content creation while also setting strategy, influencing roadmap priorities, and mentoring a growing APAC enablement team.

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Define and execute Klaviyo’s APAC partner enablement strategy, aligned to top company priorities, regional growth goals, and in‑market realities (e.g., ANZ maturity vs. emerging markets in Southeast Asia).
  • Ensure APAC enablement supports the full partner lifecycle—from selling/co‑selling and implementation to expansion and long-term customer growth—tailored to agency, consultancy, and SI partner motions in the region.
  • Build and maintain a regional partner enablement framework that can be localized by country, language, and vertical (e.g., ecommerce, hospitality, financial services) while staying consistent with global standards.
  • Support continued impact and optimization of partnerships in Australia & New Zealand, while driving scalable playbooks the rest of APAC can inherit and adapt.
  • Partner closely with regional leadership to accelerate expansion into priority APAC markets (e.g., Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, India), using partners as a primary growth lever.
  • Serve as a senior representative of Klaviyo in the field, delivering regionalized enablement through live 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many trainings, workshops, and localized content—both virtually and in‑person across the region.
  • Help define and refine the ideal APAC partner profile and partner value propositions, working closely with regional Partner Sales and Partner Marketing.
  • Enable APAC partners to confidently position, sell, and execute across Klaviyo’s Autonomous CRM platform, spanning marketing, service, and analytics, including country-specific channels (e.g., SMS, messaging apps) and compliance considerations.
  • Contribute to enablement content creation and flagship initiatives for new platform capabilities, ensuring global assets are adapted for APAC use cases, examples, and customer stories—not just translated.
  • Act as a product-obsessed leader who stays fluent across platform capabilities and can translate new features into clear, practical partner plays for APAC markets.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Internal Enablement, Partner Marketing, and Partner Sales to execute the APAC enablement strategy, ensuring regional needs are clearly represented in global planning and content.
  • Influence enablement strategy, tooling, and roadmap priorities so that APAC partners can access the right content, in the right format and language, at the right time.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Solutions teams in APAC to close the loop between partner enablement, field feedback, and customer outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor APAC enablement talent (e.g., APAC Partner Enablement Manager), creating clarity on priorities, success measures, and development paths.
  • Act as a player-coach who elevates team performance while maintaining hands-on execution in key markets and with strategic partners.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, feedback, and continuous improvement within the APAC partner enablement function.

Drive measurable outcomes including:

  • Increased partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline in APAC, with clear attribution back to enablement programs.
  • Increased platform adoption and depth of usage through partners across priority products and key APAC verticals.
  • Growth in certified APAC partners and trained practitioners, with clear regional certification and accreditation paths.
  • Improved time-to-first-value and time-to-scaled-value for customers onboarded via partners in the region.

  • Proven experience leading partner enablement, Partner Success, or Education in a SaaS environment, ideally within CRM, MarTech, or platform-based ecosystems.
  • Strong background working with international partner ecosystems, with significant hands-on experience in APAC (and ideally some familiarity with EMEA or other international regions).
  • Experience supporting a wide range of partner types, including digital agencies, consultancies, and system integrators, ideally across multiple APAC countries and levels of maturity.
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling partner enablement programs in high-growth, rapidly evolving environments.
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and enable partners in live, field-based settings across diverse cultures and markets.
  • Deep product curiosity and fluency, with the ability to translate complex product capabilities into simple, outcome-oriented partner plays for APAC customers.
  • Strong cross-functional operator who can influence without direct authority and align global and regional teams behind APAC enablement priorities.
  • A bias towards action, with an extreme ownership mentality and growth mindset—comfortable testing, iterating, and scaling what works.
  • An AI-first mindset, using AI to increase speed, scale, and impact of enablement efforts, and to help APAC partners work smarter across content creation, analysis, and execution.
  • Player-coach mentality with experience managing and developing talent; able to stay close to the work while zooming out to set direction.
  • Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing tactically—willing to roll up their sleeves in market while shaping long-term APAC enablement strategy.
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, navigating ambiguity and changing priorities while keeping partners and internal teams aligned.
