This is a newly created position with a unique opportunity: you'll help shape how our Research, Data Strategy, and Data Systems teams operate while gaining broad exposure to every stage of the data lifecycle. You'll be the critical connector between research, analytics, and operational execution—translating complex data into actionable insights that strengthen our organizational strategy and improve educational outcomes.
Working under the shared leadership of our Research and Data Strategy teams, you'll gain broad exposure to every stage of our research, analytics, and data operations. As you onboard, you'll orient our full portfolio of projects, develop a deep understanding of our organizational strategy, and build fluency in the systems, processes, and partnerships that power data-informed decision making across Leading Educators.
You'll quickly become a trusted operational partner—creating project plans, meeting agendas, documentation, and tracking tools that keep complex, cross-functional initiatives organized, aligned, and moving forward. You'll coordinate work across multiple teams, ensuring priorities remain visible, stakeholders stay connected, and key deliverables are executed with excellence.
As your understanding of our work grows, you'll take increasing ownership of analytical projects—from cleaning, validating, and organizing data to conducting quantitative analyses, building dashboards and reports, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. You'll contribute to larger cross-functional initiatives while developing the confidence and expertise to independently lead smaller projects that directly inform organizational strategy and continuous improvement.

- Quantitative data analysis and statistical methods, with the ability to clean, organize, and validate datasets from multiple sources
- Project coordination and management, with proven success juggling multiple concurrent priorities and keeping teams aligned
- Data visualization and communication, translating technical analyses into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
- Research methodologies and processes, including survey development, literature synthesis, and research logistics
- Demonstrated proficiency with data management, analysis, and reporting tools, including:
- SurveyMonkey (or similar survey platforms)
- Excel
- SQL
- R
- Power BI
- Tableau
- Other comparable business intelligence tools for developing dashboards and actionable reports.
- Diving into complex problems and discovering creative solutions? You'll tackle analytical challenges that directly inform organizational strategy and improve how we support educators nationwide.
- Building strong relationships and adapting quickly to shifting priorities? You'll work cross-functionally with Research, Data Strategy, and Data Systems teams in a dynamic environment where your flexibility drives impact.

Requirements
~1 min read- This is a remote position that requires travel 1–3 times per year.
- National travel for org retreats, programming, job related travel, or professional development and other job-related travel.
- Candidates must maintain a dedicated home office within the United States and work remotely when not traveling for required job responsibilities
