Accounting Coach

We're seeking an experienced accounting professional to coach students and early-career professionals looking to break into or advance within the accounting field. This role includes helping coachees strengthen their grasp of core accounting principles, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting, as well as guiding them through practical skill-building exercises that mirror real-world work. Coaches also support career development by reviewing resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, and by preparing coachees for both behavioral and technical interviews. Additional support may include salary negotiation guidance, networking strategy, promotion strategy for those advancing within their firms, and advice for coachees exploring freelancing opportunities. Ideal candidates have significant hands-on experience in accounting or finance (public practice, industry, or both), prior mentoring or coaching experience, and a clear, structured approach to explaining technical concepts and career strategy alike. Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.
