Responsibilities

This senior finance role leads business planning, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, risk analysis, and executive reporting to support strategic and operational decisions. The position is part of the leadership team and will analyze financial, operational, and workforce data; develop accurate financial models and performance insights; strengthen reporting processes; and communicate business results.  The role will be integral in communicating the business outlook to management, headquarters, and the parent company.

  • Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and operational data to provide accurate, timely insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain the company’s short, medium, and long-term business plans and forecasts.
  • Provide management with financial information and recommendations that enable timely decisions and support the achievement of company objectives.
  • Lead complex financial analysis projects and prepare in-depth evaluations of business plans.
  • Manage all budgeting, cash flow planning, and risk outlook activities.
  • Identify and implement improved methods for financial analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Monitor revenue and expenditures and develop reports to support projections and performance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
  • Develop processes and procedures that accurately capture, track, and report financial performance, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company’s revenue recognition policy.
  • Collect, interpret, and evaluate workforce metrics to deliver data-driven insights for internal and external talent-pool assessments, headcount reviews, forecasting, and business scenario planning.
  • Review processes and monitor plan effectiveness to improve key performance indicator performance and organizational development.
  • Prepare and deliver management presentations on business operations, financial performance, and outlook.
  • Communicate with headquarters and the parent company, as needed, regarding the business unit’s operations, management, and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of eight years of professional finance experience.
  • Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting, treasury, and corporate finance, including variance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and financial modeling, as well as proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience working with online analytical processing databases and preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, including the ability to recognize patterns across seemingly unrelated situations and identify underlying issues in complex business scenarios.
  • Demonstrated ability to build accurate financial models, communicate complex information clearly, and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Professional fluency in English, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Master of Business Administration or a relevant professional credential, such as Project Management Professional, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, or another recognized finance certification.
  • Bilingual in the Korean language - conversational or higher level of expertise is desirable to interpret the law and regulation in both US and Korea.
