About the Role

Roster our frontline in-home aged care workforce using rostering and scheduling systems and engaging with the people we support to understand their needs and ensure the right support is delivered while promoting a sustainable workforce.

This is a rostering role that gives you the opportunity to make a genuine difference and see the real impact of your work in the lives of the people we support by ensuring they receive the care and continuity of service they need.

This is a maximum term full-time position through to the 4th of April 2027 which can be based anywhere within our NSW or ACT footprint with flexibility to work from home or a local office. Hours of work are based between 6:30am and 5:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand client needs in the development of schedules and rosters
  • Develop best fit schedules for clients and optimise rosters for workers and the program
  • Utilise established rostering processes to ensure that rosters are planned and distributed in advance
  • Plan and adjust working rosters to reflect known impacts including leave
  • Respond to ad hoc changed required by clients and workers
  • Ensure rosters and schedules meet the support needs of their care plan and service agreements
  • Match workers to rosters and clients based on skills, interest and capability

Requirements

  • Previous rostering experience 
  • Knowledge of workforce management principles, HSE, awards and roster optimisation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • IT savvy with strong skills in general computer applications
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team environment and with autonomy
  • Understanding of and commitment to principles of the Aged Care Quality Standards

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
