Occupational Therapist – Adult Services

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its clients Adult Services team in Bury.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality OT interventions to support individuals in living safely and independently at home and to facilitate timely hospital discharge.

• →Assess individuals receiving care packages to ensure appropriate OT support.
• →Provide interventions that promote independence and safety in the home.
• →Support hospital discharge planning through timely assessments and recommendations.
• →Conduct assessments related to single-handed care, moving and handling, equipment, and adaptations.
• →Build strong working relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
• →Maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning.

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC Registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with older people and individuals with mental health or physical disabilities
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and organisational skills
• Ability to explain interventions clearly and build confidence with service users
• Awareness of health and safety issues
• Professional appearance and use of appropriate PPE
