Liquid Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager for its client at Poulton le Fylde.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations. Previous experience managing a children’s home is essential, ideally with a proven track record of achieving ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings.
Responsibilities

- →Provide strong leadership and management to a diverse residential care team committed to excellence in childcare.
- →Promote and support the healthy development of children and young people in residential care.
- →Protect young people from risks to their health, welfare, and development both inside and outside the home.
- →Offer additional support to young people experiencing crises or stress.
- →Encourage young people to take responsibility for their lives, involving them in planning and supporting their independence.
- →Ensure smooth and well-planned transitions for children, especially admissions and discharges.
- →Implement consistent practices aligned with the home’s policies and procedures.
- →Apply and uphold the Statement of Purpose for the home.
- →Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Children’s Act 1989 & 2004, Children’s Home Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted recommendations.
- →Deploy staff effectively to meet operational needs, including weekends and school holidays.
- →Chair meetings as required and perform on-call duties.
- →Lead the Ofsted inspection process to achieve the highest possible evaluations.
- →Maintain weekly and monthly checks aligned with the self-evaluation cycle to support Reg 45 audits.

- Relevant professional qualifications, ideally Level 5 Leadership & Management
- Manual driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Manager preferred
