Senior Practitioner – Front Door Service

Our client based in Bristol is looking for an experienced Senior Practitioner to join their Front Door Service within Adult Social Care. This is a key leadership role focused on supporting decision-making, screening referrals, and ensuring high-quality safeguarding responses at the initial point of contact.
The successful candidate will act as a senior professional within the team, supporting the Team Manager, providing expert guidance to colleagues, and deputising where required. The role requires a confident practitioner with advanced knowledge of legislation, strong leadership capability, and experience managing complex safeguarding and statutory work.
Responsibilities

- →Expert understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding frameworks
- →Knowledge of Mental Health legislation is desirable

- Advanced assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead practice, manage risk, and support others in complex scenarios
- Strong communication and ability to chair meetings effectively
Desirable: Practice Educator, AMHP, or Best Interests Assessor qualification
