Senior Residential Support Worker

In this role, you will,

• →Lead and supervise shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• →Provide direct care and emotional support to children and young people.
• →Act as a role model, promoting positive behaviors and independence.
• →Support staff through guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
• →Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and record-keeping.
• →Respond to challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• →Work collaboratively with external professionals and agencies.

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Previous experience in residential childcare (minimum 1–2 years).
• NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent (essential).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
