Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker for its client’s Recruitment & Assessment Team in Blackpool.
Join our client’s Adoption Lancashire and Blackpool service within the Recruitment & Assessment Team, where you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment of adopters and guiding them through the adoption process. This position requires flexibility, as cases span Lancashire, Blackpool, and occasionally out-of-county, so the ability to travel independently is essential.
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker who can undertake thorough assessments of prospective adopters and preferably has experience within adoption services (though this is not essential).

  • Support the recruitment of adopters.
  • Provide advice, training, and support to adults enquiring about adoption.
  • Undertake assessments of prospective adopters and prepare detailed reports.
  • Support adopters and their families through matching and achieving adoption orders.

  • Work collaboratively as part of a committed team, contributing to service development.
  • Attend team meetings, service meetings, and working groups as required.
