Team Manager – Children Looked After & Care Experienced Young People

Liquid Personnel is having an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Team Manager to join it's client's Children in Care service in North & Mid Devon. This is a high-impact role offering excellent pay and a generous £150 per week accommodation/commuter allowance (subject to eligibility, currently in place until March 2026).

Working alongside two established Team Managers, you will provide additional leadership capacity across Children Looked After and Care Experienced services. The focus is on strengthening oversight, supporting supervision, and maintaining high-quality practice across teams.

• →Providing management oversight and day-to-day advice
• →Chairing meetings and supporting court work
• →Contributing to threshold and care planning decisions
• →Supporting urgent issues across the wider Children & Families service when required
• →Being on-site at least twice per week

Devon has embedded a restorative practice approach across its services, with strong investment in training and relationship-based practice.

• Proven experience as a Team Manager within Children in Care
• Strong leadership and decision-making capability
• Ability to support and develop social workers in a fast-paced statutory setting
• Social Work England registration
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to the rural locality)
