About the Role
~1 min readHelp shape the Salesforce solutions that power the Firm’s growth. As our Salesforce Architect, you’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership to design and build custom applications that simplify complex business processes, improve operational efficiency, and equip teams to work more effectively.
- Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions that address complex business needs through native functionality, custom development, and integrations.
- Lead architectural reviews and establish technical standards that ensure scalability, performance, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Design data models and custom objects with extensive fields, ensuring usability, performance, and maintainability.
- Architect data-intensive and document-centric workflows, including document generation, storage, e-signature, OCR, and secure sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and product owners to streamline processes through automation and define system and integration requirements.
- Lead technical design sessions and maintain detailed solution documentation, data models, and architecture artifacts.
- Oversee the development lifecycle for Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and reliable integrations with enterprise and third-party platforms.
- Ensure solution quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to secure coding practices.
- Evaluate emerging Salesforce technologies and technical debt, leading innovation and modernization efforts to improve business processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect role focused on custom development.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect; Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud and Salesforce Platform.
- Background in legal, insurance, healthcare, or other document-heavy industries preferred.
- Proven experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or Salesforce DX.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Platform.
- Experience designing workflows involving automated document generation, OCR, e-signature integration, and secure sharing.
- Decision Quality: Evaluates business requirements, technical risks, and platform capabilities to make sound architectural decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Drives Results: Provides technical direction and resolves barriers to deliver reliable Salesforce solutions that meet business objectives and improve operational performance.
- Manages Complexity: Synthesizes complex business processes, data requirements, and system dependencies into cohesive Salesforce architectures that support data-intensive and document-centric workflows.
- Optimizes Work Processes: Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows through automation, integration, and platform modernization, reducing manual effort and technical debt.
- Communicates Effectively: Translates architectural concepts into clear, audience-appropriate guidance and documentation that align stakeholders and support effective solution delivery.
- Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform limits, security model, and multi-org architecture.
- Ability to mentor and inspire technical teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
