Campari Group is a global leader in the branded beverage industry, established in 1860 and home to over 50 premium brands including Aperol, SKYY Vodka and Wild Turkey. Based at Campari House in central London, the company provides a dynamic and professional working environment, focused on excellence, innovation, and employee wellbeing.


We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join us as a Facilities Operative Apprentice, supporting the smooth running, safety and maintenance of our workplace environment.



Apprenticeship Summary:



• Salary: £14,560 a year (based on £8 per hour)
• Working Week: Monday to Friday, typically 9:00am – 4:40pm
• Hours: 35 hours per week
• Duration: 15-month programme
• Online apprenticeship training supported by skilled tutors
• Level 2 Facilities Operative Apprenticeship
• Location: Campari House, 14–16 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 8QW



The Role:



This role involves supporting the Facilities Management (FM) team in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-managed working environment. You will gain hands-on experience across both soft and hard FM services, contributing to the day-to-day operations of a busy commercial workplace.


You will assist in delivering facilities services that support employees and business operations, while learning key skills in maintenance, compliance, and workplace management.


Main Duties:



• Support the FM team with day-to-day facilities operations
• Assist with maintenance of the building and workplace environment
• Help coordinate soft services such as cleaning, catering, reception, and waste management
• Support hard services including basic mechanical and electrical tasks and plumbing awareness
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Assist with administrative tasks, record keeping, and reporting
• Follow health and safety procedures and take responsibility for personal safety
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders
• Support problem-solving and suggest improvements to processes
• Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning
• Carry out tasks as directed, seeking guidance when needed
• Be hands-on and actively engaged in learning new skills



The Candidate:



Qualifications, Qualities & Experience



• Basic understanding or interest in facilities management
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, systems)
• Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed
• Awareness of health and safety practices (desirable)
• Customer service or administrative skills (desirable)
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks



Training and Development:



As an apprentice, you will receive structured training alongside practical, on-the-job experience. This will typically include:


• Study towards a Level 2 Facilities Operative qualification
• Mentoring and support from experienced facilities professionals
• Participation in workshops, training sessions, and development activities
• Regular progress reviews and feedback
