Electrical Journeyman (MT License or reciprocal state)

• →Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, and equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems.
• →Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld support; install cable and duct banks; make terminations.
• →Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
• →Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. 
• →May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
• →Work with high and low voltage systems.

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years of industrial experience. Successful apprenticeship is required.
• Seeking MT state electrical licensing in good standing or reciprocal journeyman licensing from AR, AZ, CO, MN, ND, NE, NH, NM, OK, SD, TX, UT, WY, and ID.
• TWIC Card and/or Real ID’s are required.

• Familiarity with data center systems, transfer schemes, switchgear, controllers, and pneumatic/electrical process controls.
• Proficient reading blueprints, one‑line diagrams, risers, and electrical schematics.
• Skilled with conduit bending tools, cable tray layout, device trim, and load‑bank operations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills; able to work independently as required.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass pre‑employment drug screen and background checks.

• Outside most of the time.
• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
• Limited working surfaces.

• Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).
• Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks.
• If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability are required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
