Are you passionate about protecting assets, ensuring a safe environment, and minimizing losses in the retail industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Loss Prevention Coordinator. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to contribute to the security and profitability of our retail operations.
Responsibilities
~1 min readWe believe that setting expectations is an important key to success and productivity, so here is a short list of things we expect from you:
- →Develop and implement a strategic vision for the loss prevention function across the assigned region (Croatia)
- →Collaborate with and report to the central office and management team in Poland.
- →Develop and maintain internal audit standards, techniques, and practices to ensure comprehensive loss prevention
- →Ensure the effective functioning of internal control systems to safeguard assets
- →Conduct audits and monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures in stores
- →Oversee the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure continuous improvement
- →Conduct training sessions on existing rules, procedures, and methodologies in loss prevention for staff
- →Supervise the use and maintenance of safety technologies, such as CCTV systems, to enhance store security
- →Cooperation with Police Department
In addition to being adaptable and having a positive mindset, there is a particular set of skills we expect from an ideal candidate:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
- Analytical and logical thinking skills
- Experience in Loss Prevention, preferably in retail
- Really good knowing relevant law
- Ease in building relationships, openness, communication skills, and the ability to work in a team
- Independence and commitment to completing assigned tasks
- Initiative and effectiveness in problem-solving and implementing changes
- Excellent self-organization and ability to work independently
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Experience in working on a managerial position in the store will be an advantage
- Driver’s license (B) – open to frequent business trips
- English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level
