Responsibilities

- →Build and sustain collaborative relationships with community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, faith-based organizations, and grassroots partners that serve EFNEP eligible audiences.
- →Coordinate and implement Healthy Communities projects that improve access to healthy foods and physical activity opportunities that complement direct education efforts.
- →Establish and support community-based nutrition advisory committee and stakeholder groups.
- →Recruit, train, and support volunteers who assist with EFNEP programming and outreach activities.
- →Review, compile and report program data to document outcomes and demonstrate program impact.
- →Collaborate with other LSU AgCenter Extension faculty and staff to deliver integrated programming that supports efforts creating healthy families and communities specifically among underserved populations.

The LSU AgCenter, is one of eight campuses within the broader LSU enterprise (LSU System). The LSU AgCenter includes the Louisiana Agricultural Experiment Station, which conducts agricultural-based research, and the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service, which extends the knowledge derived from research to the people of the state. The AgCenter is headquartered in Baton Rouge and has 12 “on campus” academic departments and five regions which are made up of 15 branch research stations and an extension office in each parish.
