We are seeking a talented, experienced Senior Contracts Manager to help define the future of lunar surface mobility in a fast-paced startup environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Help craft and implement contractual documentation
  • Support contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and the federal government
  • Review contractual terms, identify risks, and negotiate on behalf of the company
  • Coordinate contract implementations between the company and subcontractors while ensuring both parties are adhering to obligations
  • Quarterly review and maintain all contract records, while guaranteeing thorough and accurate compliance
  • Coordinate and support contract administration across departments
  • Support government compliance activities


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in contract administration or a related role, preferably in the aerospace industry and/or a technology startup environment
  • Strong understanding of contract law, including contract formation, interpretation, and implementation
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable terms and conditions while maintaining positive relationships with partners and vendors
  • Experience working on contracts with the U.S. government
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • U.S. Persons


 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role within the aerospace industry and/or a technology startup environment
  • Advanced degree or certification (i.e., JD, CPCM)
  • Experience working in the space industry or with NASA or DoD contracts, including familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS)
  • Knowledge of intellectual property rights and licensing agreements related to space technology
  • Experience with international contracts and cross-border transactions


Any offer of employment for this position is conditional upon Lunar Outpost receiving the LTVS SubCLIN 1C Award from NASA. If the contract is not awarded to Lunar Outpost, this offer will be considered null and void, without further obligation to Lunar Outpost.


Compensation & Benefits: Compensation level and base salary are competitively structured and thoughtfully determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, and the scope of the role.
