We are currently looking for a Yard Foreman in the Inverness area to support our growing operations team, this is a fantastic role which will allow the successful candidate to up skill and develop through the company, you will find more details below.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, develop and appraise Yard operatives to achieve a high performing team
• Review equipment and take action to correct and repair damages to ensure kit is fit for use
• Manage transport activities within the depot to ensure the most efficient and cost effective use of company vehicles and/or external haulier
• Be aware of the Statutory Transport Legislation and ensure compliance
• Monitor loading and stacking against picking lists and other authorised documentation ensuring accuracy of delivery of stock
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements in depot to ensure loading, unloading and moving stock is carried out in a safe and secure environment
• Drive and develop a customer service culture and effective communication to enable optimal working methods

What You Need

• Experience in an operative position
• Experience in a similar sector / industry
• FLT Licence
• Full UK Driving Licence
