We’re looking for a Software Development Manager to join our growing team and help us scale the next generation of MaintainX products. You’ll lead a talented group of developers, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure we ship products that customers love and rely on daily.

• →Manage a team of 5–6 product developers, driving delivery, quality, and innovation.
• →Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Software Development Leaders to scope, plan, and deliver projects with a high bar for quality and reliability.
• →Lead, mentor, and grow your developers—helping them build new skills, navigate challenges, and advance their careers.
• →Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support the team in achieving goals.
• →Champion software development excellence—ensuring strong CI/CD pipelines, code quality, and observability practices.
• →Provide visibility into team impact, progress, and risks to senior leadership.
• →Collaborate with Recruiting and other Software Development Managers to hire, onboard, and scale a world-class engineering organization.
  
  

• 4+ years of Software Development management experience with proven success leading software teams.
• Strong technical foundation in computer science fundamentals, system design, and modern web technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in technical design, problem-solving, and project management (experience with Jira preferred).
• Passion for hiring, coaching, and developing diverse Software Development teams.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing, and reliability-focused development practices.
• Excellent communication skills—you can distill complex ideas and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
