Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist coordinates and processes service van and consignment inventories to ensure accurate records, timely reconciliation, and consistent communication with branch, service, parts, and Inventory Control teams.

• →Schedule and support service van and consignment inventory counts.
• →Perform physical or virtual counts according to corporate inventory procedures.
• →Review variances, coordinate recounts when needed, and verify inventory accuracy.
• →Generate count sheets, confirm replenishment activity, and ensure inventory is properly reflected in Irium.
• →Account for parts in transit, staged items, returns, and recently pulled parts during counts.

• Document inventory variances, bin location updates, stock adjustments, and removed parts.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, used, or non-saleable inventory for review.
• Process completed counts in Irium the same day whenever possible, and no later than the following morning.
• Run variance reports before posting and reconcile activity that occurs during the inventory window.
• Clear eliminated stock locations after transfers are finalized.

• Send completion updates with count sheets, variance reports, transfer documentation, technician details, and audit notes.
• Submit completed count sheets to Inventory Control the same day the inventory is performed.
• Communicate discrepancies, transfer issues, or unresolved inventory concerns promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Inventory control, warehouse, parts, service van stock, or consignment inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately count, document, reconcile, and process inventory transactions.
• Experience with inventory systems required; Irium experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and professional communication skills.

• Work may occur in branch, warehouse, service, or remote inventory environments.
• Role may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, sorting, and handling parts.
• Occasional travel to branch or service inventory locations may be required.
• Inventories are not performed on the last day of the month.
