Responsibilities

Oversee clinical and surgical scheduling, provider templates, and surgical blocks.

Maximize provider, appointment, procedure, and operating room utilization.

Monitor cancellations, no-shows, backfill opportunities, waitlists, and schedule capacity.

Identify scheduling gaps, access barriers, and opportunities to improve patient conversion.
→
Develop and monitor scheduling KPIs, reports, and performance dashboards.
→
Lead and support scheduling staff, including training, workflow management, and accountability.
→
Partner with physicians, clinical teams, front desk, AfterCare, billing, and administration to improve patient access and operational efficiency.

Identify workflow issues and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce unused capacity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Operations, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
3–5 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, surgical scheduling, or clinical operations experience.
Leadership or management experience preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with EHR and scheduling systems required; eClinicalWorks experience preferred.
