~1 min read- →Provide warm, empathetic responses to incoming calls from students needing support or who may be in crisis
- →Complete risk assessments and de-escalate crisis intensity to prevent self-harm or harm to others.
- →Collaborate with students to develop a plan for safety and recommend next steps.
- →Initiate follow-up calls to check on client welfare and encourage service linkage.
- →Maintain clinical documentation, ensuring detailed and accurate logging of user sessions.
- 1+ years experience practicing telehealth, crisis management, or in a call center environment
- Training and experience in assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment planning
- Ability to learn, maintain and demonstrate mastery of clinical policy, call handling, and operational protocols
- Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and maturity
- Ability to exercise excellent independent judgment with minimal direct supervision
- Schedule flexibility with openness to work a non-traditional schedule that may include evenings and/or weekends
And the following would be nice
- Hold an independent, unrestricted licensure to practice counseling and/or psychotherapy (state equivalent of LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist etc.)
- 2+ years of experience practicing mental health counseling and psychotherapy
- Ability and interest in picking up extra shifts as needed to cover team member’s PTO
- Potential to shape and lead clinical functions within a mission-driven organization.
